Survivors include her daughters, Ruby (Larry) Dean of Victoria, Joyce (Isiah) Johnson of Victoria, Mildred (Chester) Polk of New Jersey, Bessie (Fred) Hobbs of Victoria; son, Bess Williams, Jr. of Victoria; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Bess G. Williams, Sr. and a grandson, James Polk.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be 10 AM, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Hobbs officiating with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Leandra Hill, Letrice Montgomery, Askaskia Hobbs, Crysten Williams, Caleb Hobbs, Reginald Johnson, Keith Johnson and Job Polk.
