Georgia M. Darilek

Georgia M. Anderle Darilek, 85, of Victoria passed away Monday, July 14, 2014. She was born November 2, 1928, in Moulton to the late Joseph and Frances Sustr Anderle. She married the love of her life Ernest Darilek in 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Georgia enjoyed gardening, fishing and dancing, and was a member of the P. O. L. K. of A. She also enjoyed going to watch her grandkids’ and great-grandkids ballgames and playing games with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Marla Rae Darilek, Valerie Zamykal and husband, Charles, and Tamara Bynum and husband, John, all of Victoria; grandchildren, Charla Ybarra, Landon Zamykal, Brooks Bynum, Koby Bynum and Haley Bynum; and great-grandchildren, Sarah Ybarra, Caleb Ybarra, Jordan Ybarra, Zachary Zamykal, Brody Zamykal and Taylor Zamykal.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Darilek, sister, Allyne Psencik and brother, Julius Anderle.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2014, followed by a Rosary at 7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Friday, July18, 2014, at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, Rev. Patrick Knippenberg officiating. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charles Zamykal, John Bynum, Landon Zamykal, Brooks Bynum, Koby Bynum, Joe Ybarra and Robert Haas.

Donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory Cathedral or a charity of the donor’s choice.
