Gerald David Kinnison

Gerald D. Kinnison, 63, formerly of Victoria, went to be with the Lord, March 22, 2013. He was born April 6, 1949, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Arnett Dale and Marie Anderson Kinnison. Gerald was a 1968 graduate of Victoria High School, and a 1989 graduate of Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, Texas. Gerald worked many years in oil field sales and also taught in the drafting department at The Victoria College. Gerald was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church of Victoria, and loved fishing, especially at his favorite spots, Schlebachs pasture and Magnolia Beach.

Gerald is survived by his sons, Will Kinnison and wife, Kristi of Victoria, Jess Kinnison and wife, Sara of Austin; sisters, Carol Johnson and husband, Harry, Barbara Combs both of Cleburne, Texas and Betty Dieckmeier and husband, Stanley, of Copperas Cove, Texas. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Jacob and Melody Grace Kinnison, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Arnett Dale Kinnison, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Pastor Gene Rice officiating.
