Gilbert Sanchez, 75, of Victoria, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017. He was born on November 3, 1941 to the late Juan and Hilaria Constancio Sanchez. Gilbert proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired from DuPont as a security guard. He is survived by his wife, Pok Hui Yu Sanchez; sister, Mary Jane Evans, both of Victoria; niece and nephew. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother in law, Hugh Evans.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Resurrection Cemetery, Deacon Fred Soto officiating.
