Gloria Manchaca Flores

Gloria M Flores, 74, of Victoria passed away October 27, 2016. She was born April 2, 1942, in Victoria to T. L. & Julia Nunez Manchaca. She was retired from Incarnate Word. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Flores, Sr.; son, Ralph Flores Jr.; sister, Guadalupe M. Valdez (Estaquio); four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was especially proud to have loved, cared and raise two of her great-grandchildren, Matthew and Tony Perez-Garcia Jr. They were her whole world and she lived for them. Although Gloria did not have daughters of her own she felt blessed to have her nieces: Betty Echeveste, Julia Montes and Ann Margaret Gonzales and considered them as such.

She was preceded in death by son, Richard Flores; sister, Connie Manchaca and parents.

A time of visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. in Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral Mass will be Tues, Nov. 1, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael R. Gonzales, Ralph Montes, Christian M. Gonzales, Nacho Zarate, Ralph Flores, Jr. and Luis R. Echeveste.
