Harry Eugene Robertson, 79, passed away on July 28, 2021. He was born on November 21, 1941 in Barnard, SD to the late Herbert Harrison Robertson and Ella Lucille Robertson. He moved from South Dakota to Victoria in 1953 and retired from DuPont after 35 years of employment.
Harry was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church as well as an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. He was a dedicated family man, avid hunter, competed in competitive skeet shoots and enjoyed woodworking.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Patricia (Pat) Robertson, parents, Herbert and Ella Robertson, brother, Dwight Robertson, and niece, Cheryl Elswick.
Harry is survived by his son, Kevin Robertson (Lawri Lynch) of Porter, grandson, Zachary Robertson of Cypress, sisters, Kay Elswick and Sue Gopffarth, both of Victoria, and nephews John (Boyd) Elswick of Cypress and Kyle Strickland of Victoria.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity, a charity very close to Harry’s heart.
