Hector Trevino Mendieta, 60, of Victoria, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. He was born on July 9, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Candito Soto Mendieta and Maria Trevino Mendieta.
Hector attended Del Mar College and received his Associate’s degree in Music. He later met and married the love of his life, Nancy Chumchal, on September 23, 1979. They are owners of H & N Enterprises of Victoria. Hector enjoyed spending time with his wife, fishing, and making music with his friends. As an active member of the Coastal Conservation Association of Texas, Hector served on the local, state, and national board levels.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kathryn Morton officiating.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations may be made to the Coastal Conservation Association of Texas.
