Helen worked for many years as head teller for Victoria Bank and Trust. She never “worked” a day in her life, loving every moment and memory she made while in the banking business. She always had a smile on with kind eyes, never truly meeting a stranger, making friends with everyone who had the blessing of meeting her. Helen loved to read, play dominoes, eating out with bank retirees, and being near her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert M. Janak and her parents, Johnnie and Irene.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin M. (Tammy) Janak and Kenneth M. (Cecilia) Janak both of Victoria; sister, Mildred “Mickey” (Norrell) Cinadr Schulte of Hallettsville; brother, Marvin J. (Sue) Cinadr of Hallettsville; grandchildren Jamey (Farah), Jeremy (Jenna), and Emily Ann Janak; great grandchildren Kendall, Avery, Nora, and Finley Janak; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
