Jay F. Wilson

Jay Fran "Grumpy" Wilson, 79, of Victoria, passed away August 28, 2017. Fran was born January 26, 1938 in Hollis, Oklahoma to the late Clyde and Evelyn Herrin Wilson. He worked as a medical lab technician for over 50 years at both Hohf Clinic & Hospital in Victoria and Memorial Medical Center in Port Lavaca.

Fran is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janette Mazoch Wilson; son, Reese Wilson and wife, Amy of San Antonio; sister, Gaybe Schneider and husband C.F. “Bub” of Victoria; sister-in-law, Janie Wilson of San Antonio; grandchildren, Sam, Rosemary and Sadie Wilson and 3 nieces and 1 nephew along with a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dale and Gary Wilson, and step-father Rick Ingram.

A rosary will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with a funeral service to follow at 2 PM with Rev. Gary Janak officiating.
