I remember Jerry as a little guy standing on the front seat of Mom's car while we were driving around Victoria. Later as a young boy, he loved the beach at Aransas Pass, rode a calf around the ranch, had a dog named Mergatroid, was always laughing and smiling. Jerry was a wizard with anything electronic and was always building and repairing equipment. Owned his own business and was there for Mom and Dad. Thanks for the friendship and good memories. We love you.

Jerry was my first best friend in the world. Growing up on Woodlawn St in Victoria up to about age 11 years, until my family moved to Alamo Beach in Port Lavaca. I have fond memories of Jerry and the Alkek family and all the neighborhood kids of that age.
My heart goes out to the whole family on the loss of Jerry.
Rest In Peace my dear friend.

My deepest sympathy to Jerry's family. I was sad to learn of his recent passing. Jerry and I were neighborhood buddies back in the late '70's. We both attended VHS and TSTI - Waco together. I will always remember all the Good times we had! His friendship and memories will be cherished forever. Rest in Peace brother Jerry!
