VICTORIA - Jesse James White, 79, of Victoria passed away Aug. 29, 2011. He was born in Corpus Christi on Feb. 3, 1932 to the late J.B. and Lillian Wren White.
Jessie was retired from the United States Army where he served 20 years and was in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. After his retirement he went to work for the United States Post Office where he retired after 20 years of service.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Annie Calloway White of Victoria; daughters, Jessica Ann White of Victoria and Jonell Virando of Italy; one granddaughter, Katelyn White; two grandsons, and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011 at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 10:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio.
