Juan Ricardo Arrieta, 50, reunited with our heavenly Lord on April 1, 2021. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on August 7, 1970 to John and Carmen Arrieta. He graduated from Destrehan High School in Louisiana and attended LSU and Victoria College. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, served in the National Guard, and served for a year in the Iraq War. Juan is survived by his daughter, Angela Celine Garcia; his mother, Carmen Arrieta; two brothers and their spouses, Victor and Kristina Arrieta, Martin and Kristie Arrieta; his sister and her spouse, Matthew and Marie Winters and 9 nephews and nieces. He will be put to eternal rest at Fort Sam Houston's National Cemetery at a later date. Juan always helped those less fortunate. Therefore, we ask that donations to Christ Kitchen (PO BOX 3391, Victoria, TX 77903) be made on his behalf in lieu of flowers.
