Kathy Fleeman Graham-Fric

The loving and beautiful Kathy Fleeman Graham-Fric, 64, is a true fighter but was called home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2016 after a 2 year long battle with cancer and numerous other medical conditions. Her beautiful smile is no longer hiding her pain, she is free singing and dancing again.

Kathy was born on February 20, 1951 to Gene and Frances Fleeman in Bloomington, TX. She was married to Michael T. Fric for 13 beautiful years and he stood by her side in sickness and health. She was a hairdresser for many years and then went back to nursing school as her passion was to help others. She was a devoted mother and wife, as well as a friend to many – she was a selfless woman that would ask “how are you doing” despite lying in bed in pain. She would help a friend or even total stranger without a second thought.

For those that know Kathy best you know she loved her kids and grandbabies more than life its self – she fought for her family this past 2 years. She loved to spend time in Port O’Connor fishing, or just sitting at Froggies dock talking to everyone. Kathy loved to dance and was one of the best on the dance floor. She had the voice of an angel that she used to worship God.

Kathy has joined many in the “Glory Land.” Her parents Gene and Frances, a sister baby Linda Ann, “baby boy” Fleeman, a precious grandson Jaxon and numerous aunts, uncles, family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Michael T. Fric of Victoria, TX, her son Brad Graham of Nursery, TX and grandson Jayce Matthew, her daughter Shanna Kay Halteman and son-in-law Kelly Michael Halteman, granddaughters Jordyn Elyse “Lovey Dovey” and Bethany Elaine of New Braunfels, TX and numerous other family members.

Dearly loved, Kathy will be missed by many, Jesus has called her home to be at peace. The family will receive visitors on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Services will be 10 AM Tuesday, February 16,2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel in Victoria, TX. Burial will follow in Crescent Valley Cemetery.

Kathy requested Pastor Roger Parrish to officiate at her celebration of life. Serving as pallbearers: Chris Powell, Dwain Garber, Shad Estes, Don Pennington, Kelly M. Halteman, JJ Johnson, George Johnson, Jim Fleeman, Shane Estes, Allen Dale Miller, Dick and Mary Murchinson, Georgiana Sanchez, Mark Raab and Keith Baldeschwiler.

A very special thank you to Dr. Nezhad, he was there until the end and the wonderful ICU nurses at Citizens that worked endlessly to keep mom and our family comfortable! Also her cancer doctors: Dr. Ohanian MD Anderson and Dr. Daggubati, New Braunfels TX.
