

Ladie Edwin Kacir, 78, of Victoria passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014. He was born June 3, 1935, in Yoakum to the late Charles Edwin and Ella Haynes Kacir. Ladie was an Instrument Technician for 23 years retiring from CPL and was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. When Ladie retired he loved working on clocks and became known as “The Clock Man”.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Anne Wilburn Kacir; son, Chad (Risa) Kacir of Stillwater, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Leigh (Ed) Jones of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, Herbert (Carrie) Kacir of Victoria; Gilbert (Mary Ann) Kacir of Yoakum; and grandchildren, Sunday Sewalt, Trey Sewalt, Adam Kacir, Cameron Kacir, Andy Jones and Ben Jones.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kacir was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Jean Kacir; sisters, Libbie Fuchik, Louise Lehman and brothers, Ervin Kacir and Charles Kacir, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, from 6-8 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 27, 2014, at 2 pm at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church with Rev. John Waak officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Trey Sewalt, Adam Kacir, Cameron Kacir, Charles Mozisek, Buck Dabney and Weyman Reimann.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Andy and Ben Jones.
