

Letha L. “Grammy” Schulenburg, 86, of Victoria passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. She was born April 30, 1924, in Gonzales County to the late James Edward and Melinda Jane Ivy Smart. She was a retired waitress and a member of Friendship Bible Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda J. Renard (Carrol) and Brenda Crawford, both of Victoria; son, Louis Frank Schulenburg III (Lou Joyce) of Beeville; brother, E. J. Smart (Leola) of Grapeland; grandchildren, Kenneth Renard (Dianna), Letha Tenee Millsaps (James), Stacy D. Renard, Louis Frank “Frankie” Schulenburg IV (Ashley), Amy Bishop (Earl) and Scott Trlica (Emilee); great-grandchildren, Felicia Nelson, Jody Wickliffe, Amanda Millsaps, Joshua Boggs, Lacy Alexander, Elizabeth Schulenburg, Anthony Schulenburg, Alyssa Schulenburg, Katelyn Renard, Mason Schulenburg, Kaylee Schulenburg, Clay Bishop, Cole Bishop, Kyla Trlica and Mark Trlica; great great-grandchildren, Kylee Wickliffe, Makenna Wickliffe and Edward Samuel Nelson; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six sisters and six brothers.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Friendship Bible Church, Rev. Kenneth Parker and Rev. Dr. Christian Kiwia officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Kenneth Renard and Frankie Schulenburg, nephews, Eddie Alsobrook, R. Wayne Frieda, Larry J. Pullin and David Jenkins, and great-grandsons, Bryce Wickliffe and Eddie Nelson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Pullin, Chuck Smart, Anthony Schulenburg, Joshua Boggs, Clifton Wilkinson and Leslie “Buddy” Kopplin.
