Lori Ann Smiga Plunkett

Lori Ann Smiga Plunkett, 54, of Victoria passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, June 21, 2014. She was born February 4, 1960 in Victoria, TX to William and Jennie Muschalek Smiga of Inez. Lori was a retired Sergeant with the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office.

Lori is loved and remembered by her husband, Don Plunkett, her son, the joy of her life, Jake Plunkett; parents, Bill and Jennie Smiga; sisters, Carolyn Faltysek of Inez, Amy Kreis of Keller; brothers, Jamie Smiga of Victoria, Joey Smiga of Inez and Tim Smiga of Tomball.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, June 23, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 17 Church Street in Inez with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Inez with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matt Southall, Vern Sterry, Danny Pena, Danny Lorbreau, Richard Jankosky and Joe Braman. Honorary pallbearers are Duane Payne, Dwight Jander and Mannon Mints.
