

Louis was an operator at Union Carbide for over 36 years, retiring in 1990. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He raised cattle and was a rancher in Goliad County.
Louis is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty L. Tuttle; daughter, Linda Kay White and husband Tommy of Hiram, Georgia; son, Louis E. Tuttle Jr. of Georgetown; sister, Lemma Loree Horton of College Station; two grandchildren, Christopher White and wife Bonnie of North Carolina and Vicki L. Donoho and husband William of Douglasville, Georgia; and five great grandchildren, Mason Ransom, Lacey White, Landon White, Aaron White, and Chloe Donoho.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Sam Burton Tuttle, Jr.
Visitation will be held 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Colonial Funeral Home. The Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 6, 2012 with the Rev. James Shamburger officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Louis E. Tuttle Jr., Tommy White, Chris White, William Donoho, and Mason Ransom. Honorary pallbearers include William R. Yeary and C. E. Adams Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Accolade Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
