Lucille P. Salazar

Lucy P. Salazar, 88 of Victoria passed away on Wednesday August 10, 2011.

She was born on February 11, 1923 in Cuero Tx to the late Ricardo Perez and Juanita Duran Perez. Lucy was a Homemaker and a longtime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church where she was active in the Sacred Heart Group. She was also active in the CWV Auxiliary Group and volunteered at the Victoria County Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors: Daughters; Susie Bender (Earl ), of Canton Illinois, Alexandra “ Sandi “ Baxley (Al ), of Dallas, Anita Andrade (Lawrence ), of Victoria. Sons; Sammy Delgado (Brenda ), of Franklin, North Carolina, Johnny H. Gonzales, Sr (Helen ), of Victoria, Tony Gonzales (Martha ), of Victoria. Lucy is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by: Husbands; Armando Salazar and Jubencio Gonzales. Son; Robert Gonzales. Sister; Maria Anzaldua. Brothers; Alberto and Pedro Perez.

A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, August 14, 2011 , 7 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. The Mass will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011, 10 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Billy David Bender, Earl Wayne Bender, Victor Delgado, Eric Delgado. Joe Andrew Mendieta, Johnny Henry Gonzales, Jr.
