Lynn Gilbert, age 69, of Victoria, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She was born to the late Raymond Treaccar and Nancy Spradling. She married the love of her life, Jack Gilbert, on June 4, 1976. She graduated from Victoria College and the University of Houston-Victoria. During her lifetime, she was a personal secretary to a realtor, worked at the Social Security Administration and lastly she became a reading teacher at Howell Middle School. She was a voracious reader; she read at least 3 novels a week. She enjoyed gardening and going to the beach and staying at her beach house in Port Aransas. She loved babies and kids. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Lynn is survived by her husband, Jack Gilbert; her children, Jack H. Gilbert (Elizabeth), John Michael Gilbert (Lindsay) and Jennifer “JJ” Gilbert Bailey (Chad); and 6 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Treaccar and Nancy Spradling Foss.
