Lynnda Kaye "Korky" Bayer Ethridge

VICTORIA - Lynnda Kaye "Korky" Bayer Ethridge, 67, of Victoria passed away Aug. 29, 2011. She was born March 1, 1944 in Graham to the late Wesley K. and Bennye Ruth Dyer Bayer.

Survivors include: cousins, Tammy Farris, Charles Horn and wife Eyvonne, Julie Stalkup, Sandy and Bobby Bayer; her personal caregivers and angels, Elsa Munoz and Tattiana Raye; numerous cousins and loved ones; and her faithful companion, a puppy, Chula.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Bennie Lynn Dryer.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 from the Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Barney Matocha officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Charles Horn, Ralph Vasquez, Kenneth Bayer, Richard Coalson, Mago Licon and Alton Dierman.

The family would like to offer special thank you to the Health Force Nursing team and the Citizens Medical Center MICU Unit. Special thanks to the nurses of Citizens MICU.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. or Trinity Evangelic Lutheran Church.
