

Margery Meyer Eddleman, 90 of Victoria, Texas passed away on August 29th. She was born on May 6, 1927 to her parents John L. and Evelyn Parker Meyer in Moulton, Texas. She was raised with her brothers and sisters in and around Moulton where she lived until she met and married James Eddleman on December 1, 1947. They were married for 56 years until James passed away in 2003. Margery was an avid gardener and loved working in her yard and flowerbeds, she always took pride in the appearance of her yard and home. She was a long time member of the Post 4146 VFW Auxiliary and Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
Margery is survived by her daughters, Sue Eddleman Massey and Judy Eddleman; grandchildren, Justin Massey, Jeremy Massey, Holly Massey, Wendy Massey and Jennifer Massey; brother, Robert Meyer; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, son Bruce Eddleman; brothers, Claude Sherry, Harry Meyer and Clyde Meyer; sisters, Gladys Meyer Wood and Betty Meyer Bailey; and her beloved canine companion Princess.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Ray Hagan officiating.
