March 4, 1932 – June 1, 2025
Marjorie Elizabeth Williams Jeane, 93, of Victoria, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family.
Marjorie will forever be remembered as a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born on March 4, 1932, in Goliad, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of the late Edward and Reatha Belle Williams. She graduated from Refugio High School in 1950 and soon after married the love of her life, Percy Jeane. Together, they shared a beautiful life grounded in faith, love, and service.
Marjorie enjoyed a fulfilling career with the International Boundary and Water Commission in Laredo, Texas, where she served diligently for 17 years. After retiring, she and Percy returned to Victoria, where she continued to bless her community through active involvement in local organizations. She was a devoted member of the Decora Study Club for more than 35 years, including time as past president.
A faithful Christian, Marjorie found great joy in worship and fellowship. She sang in the choir at Northside Baptist Church and loved participating in the church’s annual Christmas pageants. Alongside Percy, she faithfully supported ministries that held a special place in their hearts, including Roloff Evangelistic Enterprises, Regeneration Reservation, Lighthouse Prison Ministry, and the Alpine Resort Ministry in Colorado.
Marjorie was happiest in life’s simple but meaningful moments—surrounded by family and friends, or tending to her beautiful flowers and plants, creating a vibrant tapestry of color and care. Her kindness, grace, and unwavering faith left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved daughters: Janet Price, Judy Jaso, and Joy Knox; her grandchildren: Janna Price, Brandon Knox and his wife Britny, Courtney Knox, Austin West, Meredith Jeane and her husband Ryan Moreno, and Jillian Jeane; and her great-grandchildren: Madison West, Alli West, Baylen Knox, Landen Price, Lennox Price, Beau Knox, and Brynn Knox.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Reatha Belle Williams; her devoted husband of 67 years, Percy Jeane; her son, John T. Jeane; her sister, Birdie Williams Borden; and her grandchildren: Adam West, Julie Price, Aaron West, and Andrew West.
A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held on Friday June 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, followed by interment at 2 :00 pm in Glendale Cemetery in Goliad, Texas.
