

Mary was a stay at home mom for many years, she enjoyed crafts and gardening. Mary also enjoyed working at the Victoria Country Club tennis pro shop and volunteering for the American Red Cross. Mary was also the bingo"queen" of the nursing home.
She is survived by her children, Gene F. Rogers, Jr. (wife, Linda), Frances Motal, Charles “Butch” Rogers (wife, R.J.), Mechelle Pozzi (husband, Michael), Debrah Donovan (husband, Ruben), and James David “Jimmy” Rogers (wife, Jeri). Mary is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Greg (Suzanne) Rogers, Jeff (Debralea) Rogers. Jason (Caryn) Motal, Eric (Natalie) Motal, Chuck (Kena) Rogers, Shannon (Gabe) Ramirez, Amanda Rogers, Tiffany (Jeremy) Bateman, Stacey Wells, Nikki Wells, Bradley (Lauren) Pozzi, Justin (Jacqui) Rogers and Jared Rogers; and 21 great-grandchildren, Reagan, Ryan, Braden and Kinlea Rogers, Morgan and Amelia Motal; Kaylee and Natalee Rogers;Christian, Ashley, Emily and Madison Ramirez; Peyton Rogers; Madison Bateman, Andon Wells, Kai, Ashton, Hailey and Luke Wells; Avery and Brenner Pozzi.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene F. Rogers, Sr., son-in-law, Adolph John Motal, and granddaughter, Melissa Pozzi.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Colonial Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at Memorial Park Cemeterywith Rev. Carl Westbrook officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff at Texan West Nursing and Rehab/La Villa in Victoria, the staff at Yoakum Nursing and Rehab in Yoakum, the doctors and nurses at Yoakum Community Hospital, and the special people at Accolade Hospice in Yoakum for the wonderful care, concern, love, and dedication they exhibited for Mary.
