

Mrs. Gebauer was a founding member of the Coalition for Barrier Free Living in Houston, an organization established to help aid accessibility for the disabled, and was an administrative assistant for the Department of Interior and the Veterans Administration.
Survivors include her children; William Edward “Eddie” (Juanita) Willis of Tennessee, Troy (Connie) Stoneburner of Victoria, Linda Neiser of Houston, Tim (Karen) Gebauer of Houston, Jay Gebauer of Weimar; sisters, Lovelle Russell of Madisonville, Jerry Krueger of Caldwell; brother, Charles Cunningham of San Antonio; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Gebauer, and siblings.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p. m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Rick Dowling officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Inez.
Pallbearers include Clayton Stoneburner, Brian Neiser, Jason Neiser, Brad Mitchell, Tim Gebauer, II, Charles Cunningham, Steve Smith and Sturgis Cunningham.
Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dr. Robin Adams and Dr. Maria Velasco.
