She leaves a legacy of nursing extraordinaire.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Tom Hoskings; grandchildren, Callie Cooper (Tray) and Michael Hoskings (Jill); great grandchildren, Alivia, Alyssa and Eli Cooper. Jean Herman and Sue Jurischk held a very special place in her heart.
For those wishing to view, Mary will lie in state at Colonial Funeral Home from 10 am to 6 pm, Friday, June 3, 2016.
A Service of Celebration will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, June 4, 2016 at First Christian Church, 2105 N Ben Jordan St.
A private burial will be held in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Thanks to her DeTar family and Hospice of South Texas for giving her such a privilege to leave her life under their care.
In lieu of flowers, a fitting tribute would be to help support Hospice of South Texas with a memorial contribution or to First Christian Church.
