You are dearly missed. I just looked at pictures from the Laguna House. What fun times we had. Love you guy.

Mike was all in. He faced new challenges with a thirst of knowledge and understanding the task ahead.
I watched him develop as a fly Fisherman and see the smile it brought to his face when he landed his first trout.
Sometimes God needs the good guys and calls them  to be with Him.
Still miss him

Mike was a good friend of mine when we were in the Navy. He went too soon. RIP

Dearest Connie, I just learned of Mike's death  and am sending my prayers & hugs and love  to you.  I am so sorry to learn of this  I know you will miss him so much.  You shared many good memories with him.  God bless you.

Mike was a First Class Pilot and a First Class Friend.  I will miss him, and his easy going nature.   I am recovering from a Knee Surgery I had in late Fall 2021 or I would attend this Celebration of Life, scheduled for today (Jan. 5) from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the Victoria Pumphouse.

Now you can finally touch the face of God, Mike.

Mike was just a great guy. I met him and Connie at the Victoria Skeet and Trap Club many years ago and enjoyed "breaking birds" with them.
I was also happy to guide Mike to another bucket list,Fly Fishing.
I watched as he became proficient at "dropping a bug" and hearing stories about that 1st elusive trout catch.
He will be missed

Recently, I told someone that I hoped their life was worth more than one episode of a podcast. It’s safe to say that Uncle Mike’s would be worth several seasons. He was a good big brother to my mom, a cool uncle to me and my siblings, and the great love of Connie.

It’s hard to sum up the life of a man who lived with enthusiasm. That enthusiasm spread to every part of his life making it easy to see why people loved him so much.  We lost a huge source of joy in our family, but his memory will continue to comfort and inspire us. 

I KNEW CONNIE LONG BEORE SHE MET MIKE AS WE WORKED TOGETHER  AT ITG.  THEIR ROMANCE BEGAN WHEN SHE LIVED IN THE APARTMENT BELOW MIKE'S.  I KNOW  THAT BOTH OF THEIR LIVES CHANGED WHEN THEY MET BUT THEY DID NOT WANT TO ADMIT IT.  THEY WERE MADE FOR EACH OTHER AND YOU COULD SEE THAT LOVE WAS TO BE EVERLASTING.  I KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE LOST FOR AWHILE BUT REMEMBER ALL THAT YOU DID TOGETHER AND THE ADVENTURES THAT YOU HAD.  EVEN LOOKING FOR THE CAR KEYS, AND FINDING THEM IN  THAT GLASS OF TEA AT  THE FRONT DOOR.  I WILL MISS HIM AS MUCH AS YOU WILL BECAUSE HE WAS A TRUE FRIEND TO ME,  AND HE LOVED YOU  MY FRIEND. 

Mike will be greatly missed in the Waldorff family. As the oldest of all the grandkids, Mike set his sights on adventure when he left home for the first time, and he soared even higher as the years passed.  He could fly any plane ... whether it had an engine or not.  His greatest accomplishment was marrying Connie! They were perfect for each other.  
We will all miss his smile, his enthusiasm for all things aviation, his sharing of wine from the back of his pickup truck on Thanksgiving night, and his funny and loving rapport with his irrepressible wife, Connie.  We love you, Mike!!

Thanks Mike for sharing your love of aviation, instilling in me the desire to fly, own a plane, and later to build a couple of planes. It has been one of the highlights of my  life. Always up and happy, working on some kind of project. Thanks for sharing Connie with your friends, she is some kind of special for sure. Love you Mike, I know you are soaring with the eagles. Godspeed.

Well I am at a loss for words and totally devastated.  Connie when you called me Saturday night and told me Mike was gone my heart broke.  Just two weeks prior to Mike passing away I went to Victoria and had lunch with him.   I will cherish that last time I saw him. He was so proud of his new Glider and was even prouder of the new runway he was building on his ranch.  Mike lived a full, fun,
 happy and sometimes crazy life. After he met Connie his life was complete. He could not have found a better mate. We had many fun times on vacations and of course at the famous Laguna House in Cimarron.  I can remember the night when Mike came in from flying for Soutwest Airlines and he had made Captain. He was so happy.  Connie you were the love of his life. His eyes always sparkled when you were around him. We will all miss him. He is now in heaven and has received his new wings to fly in the clouds and is landing on runways made of gold. 
I love you Connie and I love you Mike.  Mike I will defintely miss you but one day we will see each other again.  

Connie, Robin and I were so sorry to see the notice of Mike's passing.  I had not realized he was that ill.  The memories I have of the shoots, the hunting trips, the times we were together, those I will never forget.  May he rest in peace.

I am so saddened to hear about my good friend Mike.  I so enjoyed the many conversations we had over the years.  Such a prince of a 
guy.  I learned a lot from Mike, of course mostly about airplanes and flying and sharing the wild test drive in his red PORCHE out the Houston Highway.  What a thrill!  He laughed at me the whole time.
My prayers are with you, Connie.  I am so proud that Mike considered me as a friend.
