Nancy C. Pape Powitzky

Nancy C. Powitzky, 71, of Victoria passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010. She was born May 16, 1939 in Freer, TX to the late Martin and Vera McDonald Pape. Nancy was a retired bookkeeper and office manager for Gulf Truck and Tractor for twenty-two years and also worked for the Victoria Advocate for twenty years plus.

Survivors include her husband, Emory E. Powitzky, Jr.; daughters, Shanna (Patrick) Mikulenka and Stacy Parham and friend, Bill Jandt; son, Cody (Monica) Powitzky all of Victoria; grandchildren, Eric Mikulenka, Michael Mikulenka, Brandon Parham, Carroll Ann Powitzky, Samantha Powitzky and Haley Powitzky.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Powitzky is preceded in death by a brother, Martin Dean Pape.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be 2 PM on Monday, December 27, 2010 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with Rev. Barney Matocha officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Mikulenka, Brandon Parham, Eric Mikulenka, Michael Mikulenka, Alfred Hempel and William Kelly, Jr.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
