Our mother was known for her cooking abilities, and the table was always full of our friends. She was a member of Stratton Primitive Baptist Church where she attended her entire life. She loved singing at the church, but could not carry a tune. We always said mother was a funeralizer. She went to every funeral, so she could talk with all of her cousins and get caught up with on the families. We always said you had to be from a small community to appreciate a funeral. We would like to thank Mr. Ennis and Rosemary, Twin Pines Nursing Home and Crown Hospice for all their help.
