Pat Tucker Chumchal

Pat Tucker Chumchal, 70, of Victoria passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011. She was born on July 28, 1941 in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Bill I. Tucker and Nellie C. Higdon Tucker. She worked as a Marketing Director for Cal- Com Federal Credit Union for nine years, as well as retiring as a Marketing Director from Texas Vocational School. Pat was an active member of The Victoria Chamber of Commerce where she received the Honorary Lifetime Ambassador Award. She served as a Board of Director for Cal- Com Federal Credit Union for 19 years. Former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Holy Family Catholic Church, she was active in the Altar Society and St Mary’s Catholic Daughters. Pat was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Unit 4146. She was also a proud member of the Czech Heritage Society and P.O.L.K. of A. Chapters 1 and 2.

Survivors include husband, Rudy Chumchal, of Victoria; daughters, Sherrie Linton, of Casa Grande, AZ, Nancy G. Mendieta (Hector) of Victoria; sons, David Linton (Karen), of Casa Grande, AZ, William R. Chumchal (Yvonne), of Fulshear, TX. Pat is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Friends and Former Colleagues may come by to pay their respects from 9 am to 9 pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Colonial Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9 am on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, TX. A Rosary will be recited at 9.30 am with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10 am, Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Burial will follow at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tommy Hermes, Ervin Chumchal, Fred Chumchal, Ricky Chumchal, David Chumchal, Hector Mendieta, Al Mladenka , Jakob Burgess, David Linton.
