

She graduated valedictorian in 1951 from Webb City High School and attended Joplin Junior College where she met the love of her life, Robert Louis Rider. They were married on July 25, 1952. She worked for many years in accounting and was a member of the Telferner United Methodist Church in Telferner. She was a woman who loved God, her family, her friends, playing the violin in her younger years, watching classic movies, and reading.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Bright, and son-in-law, David, of El Campo; granddaughters, Brandi Phillips, and husband, Brad, of Fayetteville, AR, Angela Kutac, of Victoria, Elizabeth Bolden, and husband, Martarius, of Houston; great-grandchildren, Britni Phillips, of Fayetteville, AR, Emilee and Tyler Kutac, both of Victoria, and Savoy Bolden, of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rider; her daughter, Pamela Johnson; her older sister, Mona McCombs; her younger brother, John Phillip Wilbur; and her great-granddaughter, Zadie Anne Bolden.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels in Victoria.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Telferner United Methodist Church in Telferner. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Victoria, with the Rev. Alex Alvarez officiating.
Pallbearers will be David Bright, Martarius Bolden, Tyler Kutac, Jim Matson, Steve Birmingham, and Dale O’haver.
