

Paula Ann Nersesian, 64, of Victoria passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013. She was born on January 1, 1949 in Philedelphia, Pa to the late Paul Nersesian and Marie Collins Nersesian. Paula loved to help people and was always giving; she had a "live to give" personality. She would volunteer the use of her apartment over her garage if someone needed a temporary place to stay. Paula would offer her House as a meeting place even if she would not be there. She participated in various cancer awareness events, loved to ScrapBook, and was a Volunteer at Trinity Episcopal Church. Paula even took the time out of her busy life to drive a friend to MD Anderson in Houston for cancer treatments. She was active in the following Groups: Habitat for Humanity, Christs Kitchen, Daughters of the King, Girl Scouts of America, Decora Study Club (3rd VP), Womens Clubhouse (Boardmember), Bluebonnet Youth Ranch Golf Tourney, Victoria Symphony League, and Headstart Program.
Survivors; Husband, Joseph M. Long, MD, of Victoria.Daughter; Chelsea Long, of Victoria; Step Daughter Michelle Shollack, of Murphy, TX; Step Son; Michael Long, of Corpus Christi; Brothers Lee Nersesian, of Hampton, NH, and Dan Nersesian (Diane), of Hampton, NH.
Preceded in Death by her Parents, and a Brother, Robert Nersesian.
A Celebration of Paula’s Life will be held on Wednesday May 22, 2013, 10 am at Trinity Episcopal Church, Rev. Burr Dobbins Officiating.
