Peggy Frances Powell Winkler

Peggy Powell Winkler of Victoria, passed away, January 24, 2014. She was born in Lockhart, Texas, June 10, 1932 to the late Robert and Lillian Thomas Powell. She was a wife and mother and a member of Northside Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Kay Batey and her spouse, Jim of Abbeville, La. and Debbie Thompson Harris and her spouse, Eddie of Lockhart, Texas; sons, Ron Winkler and his spouse, Jan of League City, Texas and Kent Winkler and his spouse, Ann of Weatherford, Texas; brother, Bobby Powell of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Michelle McAlpin of Dallas, Texas, Erin Batey of Austin, Texas, Christie Giddens of Dayton, Texas, Matthew Brown of Fort Worth, Texas, Brittany Leroux of Stafford, Texas and Alisha Thompson of Victoria, Texas; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Bo, Blake, Blaze, Brooke, Camden, Ty, Emily and Annalee

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Winkler.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ron Winkler officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
