

Ralph Roger Kapp, 68, of Victoria passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016. He was born January 30, 1948 in Clarion, Pennsylvania to the late Ralph Albert and Dorothy Anderson Kapp. He graduated from Clarion High School and attended Penn State. Roger enjoyed reading and vintage cars and motorcycles. He had a wicked wit and an incredible sense of humor. He was an avid Scrabble player and possessed an eclectic taste in music. Favorite travel destinations included Big Bend, Canada, Hawaii and the northeast part of the United States. Roger moved to Texas in 1981 and was employed by the Vinson & Elkins Law Firm as a word processor. He and Ann met and married in Austin in 1992, and lived there 14 years before moving to Victoria in 2010.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Ann Maley Kapp of Victoria; sister, Margaret (John) Johnson of Tionesta, Pennsylvania; and brother, Fred (JoAnne) Kapp of Butler, Pennsylvania. Roger is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, Matthew Kapp.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm Monday, August 22, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, 3304 Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, Texas, 77904.
