Ramona Garza Gutierrez

Ramona "Ronnie" Garza Gutierrez went to be with her Lord Jesus on Saturday, October 4, 2014. She was 77. Ronnie was born on May 28, 1937, in Victoria, Texas, to the late Lupe and Refugia (Rodriguez) Garza. She worked many years at Modern Cleaners.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Frank R Gutierrez Jr.; daughters, Yvonne G Hernandez (Julian) of Houston, Texas, and Adela Lopez (Danny) of Victoria; sons, Frank Gutierrez III (Cecilia) of Victoria, and Major Lupe Gutierrez (Georgia) of Hill Air Force Base in Utah; two sisters, Flora Andrade and Mary Escobedo; brother, John Garza. She had 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be on Friday, Oct 10, 2014, from 5 to 6:30 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel and a service will begin at 7pm.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Oct 11, 2014, at 10 am at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her daughters and sons and their spouses, Julian Hernandez, Yvonne Hernandez, Danny Lopez, Adela Lopez, Frank R. Gutierrez III, Cecilia Gutierrez, Major Lupe Gutierrez and Georgia Gutierrez.
