Raymond Tony Guajardo Sr.

He was a loving, caring, and generous father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Born on the 28th of December 1943 in Victoria, TX, to Sebastian Sr. and Ysaura Vela Guajardo, he remained a lifelong resident of Victoria.

Ray worked for Southern Pacific for many years until his retirement.

Preceding him in passing are his wife, Delia; parents; sister, Genevie Garza; and brother, Jasper Guajardo.

He leaves behind his children; , Lisa Villarreal of San Antonio; Michael (Diana) Guajardo, Raymond (Lecel) Guajardo Jr. both of Victoria, Jeannie (Lee) Martinez of Victoria, Austin Guajardo of Victoria; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; sisters, Sara Rocha of Austin, Stella Galvan; Ernestina Martinez both of California, Sylvia Sanchez of Tomball, Lillie Martinez, Margaret Santellan both of Victoria; Eva DeLaGarza of Corpus Christi; brothers, Albert Guajardo of Victoria, Sabastion Guajardo Jr. of Kyle, Noel Guajardo of North Lake and Adam Guajardo of California.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Saturday, the 13th of September 2025, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service to begin at 10:00 a.m.

The Committal is to follow, via an escorted cortege to Resurrection Cemetery, with the graveside to begin at 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Ray Guajardo, Jr., Austin Guajardo, Lee Martinez, Michael Guajardo Jr., Daniel Cavazos, and Eric Enge. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Michael Guajardo, Sr., and Christian Guajardo.
