Reinhold Bernhard Eichhorn, 91, of Victoria, passed away July 11, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Reinhold was born March 26, 1932 in Stratton, TX to the late Ella Antonette Strobel and Bernhard Reinhold Eichhorn. Reinhold served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Reinhold married the love of his life, Lois Annette Stoever on June 2, 1957.
Reinhold was a man of many talents. He had a great love for his clocks, watches, garden, yard, hunting, fishing, and family time. A lot of people knew him because he fixed a lot of their watches and jewelry. He always said he could fix almost anything but a broken heart and go a long way on that.
He learned his trade early in life from his uncle who was a jeweler in Schulenburg. He graduated from the Illinois School of Watch Repair in 1949. He went on to the Air Force where he worked on watches and instruments. After discharge, he began his career being self-employed and later was employed at Bill Barnes Jewelers for 30 years. He then was self-employed at Eichhorn and Kocian. Reinhold was employed at Eichhorn, Gonzales, and Miller for years and then as a part-time watch repairman up until October 2022.
Reinhold is survived by his wife, Lois Eichhorn; daughter, Pamela Nix (Jimmy) of Victoria; son, Ronald Eichhorn (Tina) of Victoria; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Reinhold was preceded in death by his sister, Erna Phelps; father, Bernhard Reinhold Eichhorn and mother, Ella Antonette Strobel.
