Richard J. Blough, of Victoria, Texas, was born to Jesse and Doris Blough in Freeport, Michigan on November 1, 1931. He gained his Heavenly wings and went to be with his beloved wife Mary Louise on January 7, 2024, at the age of 92. He joined the United States Air Force right out of high school and served from 1952-1956. After his time in the service, he married his wife Mary Louise Rossi in 1956. Throughout his life, he had various management positions in sales, but his true love was being outdoors, ranching, and working cattle. Prior to his wife’s death in 2010, Richard and Mary Louise were married for 53 years and raised five beautiful children.
He will be greatly missed by his children Darlah (Mike) Sims, Denise (Ray) Smith, Diane Blough, Michael (Diana) Blough, Matthew (Leslie) Blough, seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, five of his siblings, daughter-in-law, and a grandson.
Visitation for Richard will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 9 a.m. with services immediately following at 10 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
