Roland Ouellette

Roland Ouellette, 88, of Victoria, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at home surrounded by his family. Roland was born in Windsor, Canada on July 8, 1937, to Goerge and Rosanna Laforet Ouellette. He served in the Canadian Air Force, worked as a Police Officer in Detroit, Michigan, and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Judith Menard Ouellette, grandchild, Emile Therese Ouellette, great-grandchild, Zaraiah Watson, sisters, May Nadalin, Rita Rushing, and Margaret Cooke, and brothers, Frank Ouellette, Gene Ouellette, Raymond Ouellette, and Charles Ouellette.

Roland is survived by his children, Mary Pinegar, Betty Tschoepe and her husband Tom, Father John Ouellette, Michael Ouellette and his wife Cheryl, Deanna Smith and her husband Charles, Jr., and Sheryl Garza and her husband Avelino, Jr. Roland also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, his beloved canine companion, Topper, and numerous extended family, all of whom will cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 5-7 pm, followed by reciting of the Rosary at 7 pm, all at Colonial Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment immediately following at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Honoring him by serving as Pallbearers will be Scott Tschoepe, Aaron Tschoepe, Andrew Garza, Roger Arambula, Christopher Smith, Bryan Smith, Nicholas Smith, and Matthew Smith. Honorary Pallbearer is Jose Garcia.
