Royce D. Perry

Royce graduated from Texas A & I University at Kingsville. He was an operator at DuPont and retired after 35 years. He was a member of Central Church of Christ. He served in the United States Army during 1943 – 1946 in the Philippines. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, gardening and “tinkering”. He liked to read and was always ready to share a joke.

He is survived by his son, Scott Perry and wife Kim of Victoria; and his two grandsons, Clayton Perry and Colten Perry; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Mildred and Bunky Phillips, Barbara Robertson, Billy Liesman, Mike and Charlotte Liesman, Ike Liesman and Kay Liesman; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 50 years, Bessie Liesman Perry; and brother-in-laws, Butch Liesman, Kenneth Liesman and Roy Robertson.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Colonial Funeral Home with Mr. Randy Brown officiating and Chris Bludau, soloist. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Robertson, Mike Liesman, M. P. Wright, Randy Liesman, Danny Liesman and Benji Liesman. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Liesman, Ike Liesman and Bunky Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catch-A-Dream Foundation, American Cancer Society or American Stroke Association.

Following the graveside services, the Family invites you join them for a reception at Central Church of Christ, 801 E. Airline.
