Ruth Anne MacDonald-Bourland

Ruth Anne MacDonald-Bourland, 83, of Victoria went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. She was born October 5, 1932 in Murphysboro, Illinois to the late Hugh and Gertrude Baskin.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Jack Bourland; children, Bill MacDonald and wife, Patty, Barbara Hochman and Catherine Wise; step-children, Lee Shellenbarger, Cindy Pair and husband, Scott, Billy Bourland and wife, Audie, Paul Bourland and wife, Lisa and Tim Bourland and wife, Deborah; grandchildren, Amy Metzger, Amanda MacDonald, Cora MacDonald, Alex MacDonald, Trid Christensen, Trisha Kelley, Jarod Leichtnam, Jeremy Wise, Benjamin Wise, Austin Bigelow, Noah Bigelow, Dylan Bigelow, Michelle Anderson, Jena Dunn, Brett Pair, Jody Pair, Krista Dogan, Kaylan Slovacek, Austin Bourland, Hunter Bourland, Faith Bourland, Daylyn Bourland, Kristan Hill and Kimmie Berger; great-grandchildren, Allison Metzger Brady Metzger, Gavin Metzger, Hannah MacDonald, Joshua Perelman, Charles Perelman, Gabriella Daniels, Toby Daniels, Hunter Daniels, Coraline Daniels, Miranda Kelley, Cameron Kelley, Sierra Kelley, Brooke Kelley, Brennett Christensen, Samantha Christensen, Violet Christensen, Cade Christensen, Haley Leichtnam, Lindsey Leichtnam, David Leichtnam, Matthew Wise, Benjamin Wise, Paige Porter, Coy Pair, Kamryn Jacob, Karsyn Jacob, Weston Slavocek, Haven Ybarra, Harmony Phillips, Allie Hill and Acelyn Hill; great great-grandchildren, Ivan Cervantez and Aisley McKnight.

Ruth’s greatest joy in this life was seeing someone come to know the Lord. One of her greatest passions in life was her music. She loved to play the piano and sing. She served as the pianist in many churches.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday, June 24, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be at 10 am Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Rev. Jack Bourland officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3 pm at Cook-Walden Forest Oak Memorial Park Cemetery in Austin.
