Suzanne "Suzy" Kolafa

She enjoyed participating in rodeos, riding horses, and doing anything outside growing up. Suzy always had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs and horses. She touched many peoples’ lives and was a very special person. Suzy also loved being with her children and supporting their activities.

Suzy is survived by her husband, Wayne Kolafa of Victoria; son, Jeff (Brandi) Dixon of San Antonio; daughter, Melanie Dixon (Kevin Gerdes) of Victoria; brother James (Kelly) Harrell of Crosby; her four dogs; and her parrot.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Dixon, Jimmy Harrell, Michael Harrell, Roger Dixon, Kevin Gerdes, and Craig Lester.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Graveside services will be at 11 AM on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Seaside Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
