Victor Henry Arnold

Victor was a 1st Class Petty Officer, Pharmacist Mate in the United States Navy and served during WWII. He was a member of the VFW since 1946. Victor became a 3rd degree Knight in 1963 and was a Knight in good standing for 61 years with the Knights of Columbus Council 1329. He was also a lifetime member of Communication Workers of America as he retired from Southwestern Bell in 1975. Victor became a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church when the church was built in 1958. Victor owned and operated Arnold TV Inc for 30 years. He shared his life and his work with his wife, Mary Ann, for over 50 years.

Victor is survived by his children, Robert Arnold (Nancy) of Lexington, TX, Daniel Arnold of Navasota, TX, Vicki Pyatt (Ned) of Victoria, Michael Arnold (Sarah) of Lafayette, CA; David Arnold (Erin) of Victoria; grandchildren, Roddy Arnold (Mary), Clint Arnold, Trevor Arnold (Michelle), Travis Arnold (Katie), Star Stimmel, Jordan Pyatt, Jacob Pyatt, Hugh Arnold, Alena Arnold and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann Arnold; son, Kevin Arnold; sisters, Gladys Broome, Kelly J. Correll, Doris Jordan, Elsie Drost and brother, Alvin J. Arnold.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 4-6 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 6 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 23, 2024 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Burial will immediately follow at Catholic Cemetery # 3 with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council.

Pallbearers are Ethan Lara, Jarod Sullivan, Trevor Arnold, Chaz Logan, Hugh Arnold and Chase Brown.

Honorary pallbearers are Douglas Arnold, Travis Arnold and Kennon Logan.

Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory School.
