Wilbert James “Jay” Hauschild III, a lifelong resident of Victoria, passed away at the age of 56. He was born on August 21, 1969, in Victoria to Anne Marie Pardee and W. J. Hauschild Jr.

Jay found his greatest joy in the outdoors. Whether fishing on a quiet morning or heading out on a hunting trip, he was always ready for his next adventure. He was also an unwavering fan of the Dallas Cowboys—win or lose, he cheered them on with all his heart.

Jay is survived by his daughter, Madison Hauschild Silkey (Nathan); his father, W. J. Hauschild Jr.; and his sister, Erin Arnold (David), all of Victoria.

Jay was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Marie "Micki" Pardee Hauschild.

Friends are cordially invited to visit with the family during a time of remembrance at Rosewood Funeral Chapel on Monday December 8th 2025 from 5-7 pm.
