William Gordon Edwards, 73, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021. Bill was born April 25, 1948 in Corpus Christi to the late Mercedes Marguerite Gordon and William Carlos Edwards. Bill served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969 as a Radio Mechanic and found his love of computers. Bill had a great sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh. He loved his family and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in a need. He was a gadget junky and loved his four-legged companion, Bleu.
Bill is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane S. Mathias Edwards; son, Mike Edwards; grandson, John Michael Delgado and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 2 PM at Coastal Bend State Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas with full military honors.
Pallbearers are Cammron Anderson, Dustin Anderson, Colyn Anderson, Eric Aschen, Erwin Evertts and John Michael Delgado.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
