

Colleen Ann Carden-Cowen Born: February 12, 1952, in Maywood, California Died: November 6, 2017 in Rancho Mirage, California Colleen spent her early childhood in western Colorado and attended high school in Washington. She enjoyed living is Tucson, Arizona and lived in Thermal, California at the time of her passing. She lovingly took care of her dear friend and second mom, Flo Reed, for the past 10 plus years. Colleen wore many different hats throughout her colorful lifetime. She was, a co-owner of a Limo service in Tucson, an accountant by trade, handy “man”, caregiver, and, a mother to her son and his friends that all became family, and also became very close to her daughter in law. Colleen lived her life to the fullest. She loved life, people, her four dogs and her three precious grand children. She was preceded in death by her Uncle Bill Carden. Colleen is survived by her mother, Nina Robbs of Coal Hill, AR, her father Bob (Bonnie) Carden of Meeker, CO, her second mom, Flo Reed of Thermal, CA, her son, Jeremiah Nickel, daughter-in-law, Becky King Nickel, 3 grandchildren, Harper, Rose, and Alaric, all of Spokane Valley, WA; her brother Glen Carden, niece Rainbow Carden and 3 grand nieces all of Moab, UT step brothers, Delmer (Paula) Robbs of Coal Hill, AR and David (Kim) Robbs of Loco Hills, NM. She is also leaving behind many dear friends and a host of family members, including, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
