David Jacob Wolsieffer, a carpenter by trade and resident of Hesperia, CA went home to his Heavenly Father on January 31, 2020 at the age of 61 years. Jake is survived by his mother Patricia Wolsieffer and 3 siblings, Janet, Jill and Bill, his sweetheart of 38 years Carmel and 3 children, Jacob, Leovi and Zachary.
Jake was born on September 7, 1958 to Jake and Patricia Wolsieffer in Pasadena, CA. He graduated from La Puente High School in 1976 and immediately after graduation began his career as a skilled wood maker in the carpentry field.
Jake was a genuinely devoted father. He loved his babies and as they were born, he would hold them for hours kissing, hugging, changing their diapers and just loving on them. He was also an avid baseball card and lunch box collector and loved to get on eBay selling and trading these items and showing off his collection to family and friends.
There are many wonderful stories of Jake but the best of all occurred in October of 2019 when his wife Carmel spoke to him about where he would spend eternity? After a while of talking about Heaven and God, Jake made the decision to give his life to Christ…..Hallelujah, Praise Jesus Christ.
