Felix "Nerin" Vela III, 47, of Victorville, passed away July 10, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born in Apple Valley, California, on February 26, 1970 to Minerva and Felix Vela Jr., and was the youngest of their 5 children. Felix was a man of many hats, working a variety o jobs over the years in the High Desert. He enjoyed music, dancing, relaxing at the park, BBQing (those ribs, though!), and meeting and greeting friends wherever he went. He is survived by his son Eleazar Noel Vela, whom he shared with Juanita Martinez; mother Minerva R. Vela; sisters San Juanita (Manuel) Tanori, Anna (Jose) Lopez, Claudia (Filomeno) Acevedo, Sandra (Francisco) Jimenez, Vita (Herman) Argueta and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Felix Vela Jr. For the past year, Felix had developed special bonds with his caregivers. The Vela family would like to extend our gratitude to his second family @ SB County HS, Charter High Desert, and AVPAC for their attentive and loving care.
