Gladys Roa

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on January 31st 2023 at Victor Valley Memorial Park, Rosary at 6:30. The funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Rosary at 9:30am on February 1st 2023 at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Father Hyacinth of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Victor Valley Memorial Park at 12:00. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Victor Valley Memorial Park.

Gladys was born in Camajuani, Cuba in 1933.

Gladys was married to Clodomiro Roa on December 17th 1950, they were married for 70 years.

Gladys worked as a seamstress in both New York and California for a total of 31 years until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and being around her family and friends. She was also actively involved in the Catholic Church.

Gladys is survived by her daughter Tania Keka, son Tony Roa, grandchildren Frank Saavedra, Alan Saavedra and Kristin Lopez, six great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and sisters Josefa and Sarafina Lopez

Gladys was preceded in death by parents Pedro Luis Lopez and Maria Isabel Monteagudo Lopez, brother Carlos Lopez and husband Clodomiro Arsenio Roa.
