Gwenda Sue Tackett

Gwenda Sue Tackett (Pastor Gwen) was called home February 22, 2026. Born on February 10, 1952, she was known for her love for her Lord, her family and for the hurting. It was often said she was beautiful both inside and out. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold Tackett, her son Ryan Tackett, daughter Christl and son-in-love Wayne Boyd. Five grandchildren: Wyatt Boyd, Bethany Boyd, Abby Tackett, Trixie Tackett and Sage and Chris Viscarra and one great-grandchild, Amelia Viscarra.

Her life was characterized by her love and the passion she had for hurting people. She obtained her Master’s Degree in noetic counseling from the Phoenix University of Theology and continued her education in counseling through the American Association of Christian Counseling. She served as Pastor of Marriage and Counseling at Victorville First Assembly, she was one of the Executive Directors of the National Association of Marriage Enhancement, and a Marriage & Family Missionary through the SoCal Network of the Assemblies of God.

Services will be Saturday March 14, 2026 at First Assembly of God Victorville. 15260 Nisqualli Rd, Victorville, CA 92395
