Janet Dawn Briggs

Born on May 29, 1960, Dawn was a woman of many talents and passions. As a dedicated member of the Screen Actors Guild (as Whitney Dawn Paige), she spent much of her early career gracing the screen with her talent, known for her charisma, dedication, and professionalism. Dawn's vibrant spirit and love for the arts touched many lives in the entertainment industry, where she was both admired and respected.

Later in life, Dawn transitioned into a successful career as a real estate agent. She became a trusted advisor to many, helping families find their dream homes while cultivating lasting relationships.

Dawn was a devoted wife to Gregory C. Briggs, with whom she shared 38 wonderful years of marriage, having wed on January 3, 1986. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual support.

She is also survived by her two children, Shannon and Robbie, who brought her immense pride and joy. Dawn cherished her role as grandmother to her eight grandchildren—Jennifer, Joshua, Jacob, Trista Faith, Justin, Taylor Dawn, Jaden, Tara, and Jayce—and as great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren—Ethan, Joey, Damien, Macy, Sebastian, and Brooklyn. Her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was boundless, and she found deep happiness in watching them grow.

In addition to her immediate family, Dawn is survived by her younger siblings, Jon Jorgensen and Jamie Jernigan, with whom she shared close bonds throughout her life.

Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of kindness, strength, and grace will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Funeral services will be held privately with close family at a later date.
